As you know I went to Festival of Speed with my papa and he took loads of photos. I have no idea if he will ever pop any onto a website or not, so here are a few that I love from his day with me. He shot from a buggy, and with a small Sony bridge camera.
(They say ©Lara Platman but that’s only because they live on my website, the following photos are all ©Bernard Platman)
We both played with angles for the Gerry Judah Aston Martin sculpture and I think this one is sublime. So close and so sharp.
The six o’clock shadow works well here.
We both were intrigued with the new Harley Davidson that didn’t make a noise, just a lot of smoke!
Papa was intrigued as to what I was looking for for such a long time. Trying to see if this was a works Bentley I mused over the stickers inside.
It is always fun hanging out with my Papa, who is not only keen on taking photos but loves the engineering of the historic cars. A fun day for sure. Thanks Honda UK Bikes for the invitation.
