Wrynose & Hardknott Pass

Last Friday I had the sublime joy of playing with the new Leica M10-P camera driving round the Lake District. With just one day available, I shot as much as possible and let my lens sniff out what to shoot. This camera sings in the dark and whistles in the light. Oh how I am in love. The rain, hail and snow joined the wind and my trusty Land Rover Defender took us through the Wrynose and Hardknott Pass. I stopped off at  Yew Tree Farm, utterly gorgeous, the original home of Beatrix Potter. All of a sudden this cyclist popped up from literally out of nowhere. Anyway,  I am selling this Defender reluctantly, as I am starting to build a house, but certainly will return to this valley with something equally as suitable.

Enjoy the photos. x
