How I Work

Tell me what is stuck. A quick message on your camera, your level, and what you actually want out of the workshop.
I build the route. I plan around your goals before you arrive.
We shoot. Immediately. You are reading light, chasing moments and making calls in real conditions after a quick introduction.
You leave shooting differently. With instinct and confidence.

What You Will Learn

The Photojournalist’s Eye
Seeing the story before you lift the camera. Reading a scene, anticipating the moment, and trusting the shot instead of waiting for permission to take it.
Camera Instinct
Aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focus, worked through live so it becomes instinct.
Composition That Says Something
Framing with light, shadow and movement. Cutting the noise so what is actually is there gets photographed on purpose.
Working the Room
Moving through a place or among people without breaking what you came to photograph. Confidence that comes from patience.

Do I need to be experienced? No. The session moves at your level, whatever that is. Beginners get pushed gently. Experienced photographers get pushed hard.
