Hahnemühle Supports Photofeature for the Savile Row exhibition

I have had the most delicious delivery today from Hahnemühle UK of 2 boxes Photo Rag® Baryta – 315 gsm, 100% Cotton, white, high-gloss finish, without optical brighteners, acid- and lignin-free.

I chose this paper at the Photography Show and it was a huge toss up between the Pearl and the High Gloss. Obviously the High Gloss won!

I really wanted a traditional dark room feeling and whilst I have many many and I mean many blacks in my photographs, I decided that the gloss would be the best fit for this.  The Pearl would be a really good fit too, but hey I chose the gloss.

I am using a Canon Pixma Pro10S which is an A3+ printer, and I will get the ICC profiles to match up perfectly. I love printing – it’s a form of therapy, which all Photographers ought to do themselves in one way or another, as it allows you to really see .. well your mistakes as well as your achievements. I love using Bayeux in London too, but that’s for larger formats  – so meanwhile it’s back to me, whilst I choose a good soundtrack to get this show on the Row.
